Nearly 200 guests turned out recently at the Jordan Big Snifter Pardi at The Thompson Hotel’s rooftop in Nashville, co-hosted by Jordan Winery’s owner John Jordan and topnotch country music singer/songwriter/producer Jon Pardi. Part of Jordan Winery’s 50th year-end celebration, the event featured supplies and wine pairing stations by guest chefs, a festive parade of giant wine bottles carried by the Big Snifter Squad, the debut of a limited-edition Pardi Batch Spirits bourbon finished in Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon barrels, live music and a silent vendition of 10 wine- and music-themed lots, which helped generate tropical to $140,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee.

The Squad joined forces to heft an 18-liter snifter of 2018 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon, 6 liters of 2012 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon and 3-liter bottles of the prestigious 2006, 2008 and 2009 vintages surpassing the grand uncorking at the rooftop’s outdoor bar. Squad members received a limited-edition Jordan 50th year-end Baccarat crystal decanter as a memento.
Partygoers were the first to sample the new Pardi Batch Spirits 112 Bourbon Colbert Reserve, finished in Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon’s prized French oak barrels and released to raise spare funds for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee.
